Shortcuts to test packing tape quality:
Packing tape is also called box-sealing tape, parcel tape or shipping tape, it is used for closing or sealing corrugated boxed. It consists of a pressure-sensitive adhesive coated onto a backing material which is usually a polyester film called BOPP. Here, we are going to show you some simple methods to check tape quality.
Appearance of tape
High quality tapes in retail stores consist the following features: individual package, no bubbles in tape, HD clear, printed and rigid core, smooth edges, including tape thickness & width & length ect information. Of course, if you buy tape for back store use, what matter most is the tape strength. Generally, the thicker the tape the stronger it will be.
Adhesive Strength Test
The simplest way to test that if the tape will work is trial before buys it. Sealing the carton with tape and press the surface again with tape dispenser to squeeze out bubbles. Check the sealed box several hours later, if the box leave fall apart, please try thicker one. If the tape is secure ton the box, slightly peel off tape from one side to another, you will see the box surface cardboard will be tear off as you can see form bellow picture.
Tape length test
It seems quite hard for users to check the length of a tape roll. Tape manufactuers use rewinder machine to counter length. The above pictures showed how to calculate the approximate tape length in a roll by few steps even if you don’t know the tape thickness.

A: Send email to info@zpluspack.com with your size and logo, we will quote you accordingly. After you confirm the price and details, we will send PI for you handle. You can transfer 30% deposit to our company bank account, we will start production when the money reached our account. When production finished, we will send you photos to confirm or you can come to inspect the products. After confirm the products are good, you will make 70% balance before shipping.
Q: Can I place a sample order?
A: Yes, but we will charge a retail price for the sample order. The sample cost can be refund when you place the order.
Q: Do you have any MOQ limit?
A: Yes, MOQ depends on size. For normal size is 700 rolls.
Q: Is shipping for free?
A: No, the shipment fee needs to be paid by buyers, and it is determined by weight and shipment method. We will confirm the shipping free to you if you want.
